City Surveyor | March 10, 2008

A building facing the paved area in front of London’s Westminster Abbey (out of sight to the left). I am unsure of what this building is used for, but I believe it at least serves as an entrance to the Dean’s Yard.

I think it is Church House, the Church of England’s HQ. Nice piccie btw! :)

Thanks for the input! Upon further investigation, though, it seems that the Church House is on the south end of the Dean’s Yard; this building is on the north end. All I can find is that it could be the “Great Sanctuary.” Mystery…

Oh! Bother. Sorry. I’ll try to have a look next time I am over there (please don’t hold your breath!)

Haha, I won’t; but if you do find out, please fill me in! If I could go back to London (I miss it so) and solve this mystery myself, I would! :)
