Towering Chartres | March 14, 2008

Notre-Dame de Chartres. One of the best examples of Gothic architecture is the cathedral in Chartres, France. This monstrous, architectural feat (at least for the 13th c.) towers above the small town. Its two different spires help to identify the cathedral.

What accounts for the grainy quality of the picture? I like the angle.

The graininess comes from the various filters and blending modes I used. It almost looks like the drawing in your bedroom!
