
Centre Pompidou, one of the newer museums in Paris that houses modern art, including works by Cezanne, Van Gogh, Pollock, Dali, and Chagall. The museum was named after France’s former president Georges Pompidou and opened in 1977. The design of the building has been controversial because its “guts” and structure were built on the outside.
