At the gate entrance to Chinatown in San Francisco, CA. Taken over the Memorial Day holiday during my first visit to the Bay Area.
My great-great-grandfather was the inventor of these phone-boxes to call police and fire stations! There aren’t many left anymore. The phone booth and the cell phone did them in, I’m afraid!
