Kaviar is like peanut butter in Sweden. You’ll find a host of options to choose from, all in a squeezable tube. What comes out is not small eggs but a tan-colored spread that is the consistency and texture of horseradish. In fact, the white tubes in the picture contain pepparrot or horseradish.
Last week, I counted the number of different brands and different variants of peanut butter at one grocery store. Total? Thirty-one! How many in Sweden? Three. In the "ethnic" section.

Yum! Kaviar on eggs is the BEST, or in rolled pancakes with lettuce
Hi Kat!
Thanks for the info, but I’d much rather have the peanut butter, thank you very much! Kaviar’s too rich for these German taste buds! Ach du Lieber!
