I don’t know how Eagle Rock got its name, but it sits perched atop the hilly prairie of Blue Mounds State Park near Luverne, MN. You can’t see it until you drive up to the top of the park and walk out among the grasses. The colors are beautiful, especially when the sun hits the quartzite just right.
