Rather than post a photo today, I’m featuring the artistry of someone else, my classmate and friend Rachel Winter. In her spare time, she likes to sew, and as you can see, she makes really cute baby clothes!
“I began to sew things as a young child on my mother’s beautiful Bernina sewing machine. I’ve come a long way from the Barbie outfits and hair scrunchies. Like my mother, I also developed a love for fabric, how it feels, and what can me made from it. Pair that with a need to have my hands always busy, mix in some training in studio arts and presto! A need to be crafty is created!”
